A Letter From the Founder
Hello, my name is Tim Rowland. After serving in ministry for decades, church planting, pastoring, and discipling, the deeper issues of my heart broke through the surface of all my effort.
All the truth I had studied, memorized, and even taught was seemingly failing me. The Bible was no longer a comfort, but felt like an accusation, or worse promises that I could never receive.
I had negative thought and emotional patterns that led me to live contrary to everything I believed. It was shocking and unnerving, and pushed me into a place of desperation. I was wrestling with anger, fear and anxiety and suicidal thoughts even began to make an appearance.
And in that hopeless, desperate place, God so very lovingly began to push the deepest pain of my soul to the surface. I WAS a child of God, I HAD served faithfully in ministry, but I was also broken in the deepest places of my heart.
I began to encounter the love of God in a fresh and deeply healing way. He showed me the places I had believed a lie in my heart that I would deny with my head. I was at war with myself… and with the truth.
This revolutionized my relationship with Him, my marriage, my ministry, even my daily experience in everyday life. Love. Joy. Peace. They felt more real and more present than I had ever experienced before.
Eighteen years ago, God began my heart-healing journey, and showed me where:
- I had believed lies about Him
- I had made agreement with the devil’s counterfeit solutions
- I had followed religious principles more than the Spirit of God
- I had a wrong view of my true identity
- I had partnered with spiritual influences from the kingdom of darkness
- I had deep places of unforgiveness, trauma, and brokenness
And He lovingly healed me and freed me from it ALL.
It saved our marriage. It restored my soul. It healed my heart wounds. It established my identity as a Beloved Son on a rock-solid foundation. Ministry became a labor of love rather than a burden to be endured. Love became the fuel for all our efforts in family, friendship, and in work.
In the last 18 years, we have had the privilege of leading hundreds of people to places of healing, wholeness, and restoration. Now, we want to expand the reach of this incredible healing and offer it to as many people as are willing to take the Heart Freedom Journey.
